Muhammad Yousuf's Story

Muhammad Yousaf, 65 years old, suffered from ear ache and headache. On medical consultation, he was diagnosed with chronic suppurative otitis media CSOM with chronic mastoiditis in the right ear. The doctor advised a mastoid exploration surgery for him. After his admission in the hospital, his detailed tests were done and it was found that he is suffering from uncontrolled diabetes along with renal failure and hepatitis C. Yousaf’s surgery was postponed because of his ill health. He was discharged on medical advice after one day of hospital stay.
