Noor Fatima's Story
Noor Fatima, 3 ¾ years old, was suffering from anorectal malformation (ARM), resulting in an abnormal anal opening into the genitalia. She was operated on at 2 years of age to make a temporary passage for stool. After that, she was advised another surgery to construct her anal passage at the normal site. Her surgery- an anterior sagittal anorectoplasty (ASARP) – was done at Lahore Care Hospital, on 05-12-19, by Dr Sajid Nayyer. She stayed for three days in the hospital, with good post-operative recovery and was discharged in a healthy condition.
