You saved Ihsan Ali’s heart
Ihsan Ali's Story
Ihsan Ali, a ten-year-old resident of Ghotki, was suffering from dyspnea on mild exertion and cyanosis since birth. He was taken to several local hospitals where he was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) – a congenital heart disease. Ihsan was advised to undergo Open Heart Surgery. For this purpose, Ihsan was admitted to the Ittefaq Hospital, Lahore. His total correction was successfully performed by Dr. Asim on 16-03-22. He was kept in the ICU for strict observation until he was seen recovering well. Seven days later, he was discharged in satisfactory condition. We were able to get this procedure done with the help of the Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation (PCHF). After being taken care of at home, Ihsan Ali’s health has improved and he looks forward to a healthy future.
