Aman Ali's Story
Four-year-old Aman Ali, a resident of Karachi, had been suffering from shortness of breath and cyanosis since birth. At the age of one year, her parents took him to a doctor who ran some diagnostic tests. She was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). The cardiac surgeon advised her to undergo TOF Repair Surgery. She was admitted to Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, where Dr. Waris performed his operation. Aman Ali’s post-operative recovery was delayed due to infection resulting in sepsis. She was kept in the ICU care and She recovered progressively. She was discharged from the hospital after one month of stay. This surgery was made possible with the support of the Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation and your donations. She has fully recovered now.
