You Helped Kiran Delivered Her Baby Safely

Kiran Rasheed, a resilient 27-year-old resident of Rawalpindi, found herself facing a daunting challenge as she prepared for the arrival of her third child. After consulting with her doctor, it became clear that a C-section procedure was necessary due to her previous medical history. However, Kiran’s difficult financial circumstances made it nearly impossible for her to afford the required medical intervention.

Living in a rented house with her husband and two children, Kiran’s daily life was filled with the responsibilities of caring for her family. The weight of the situation and the financial strain caused immense stress and worry for Kiran, as she knew that without financial support, accessing the necessary medical care would be nearly impossible. In her desperation, Kiran reached out to Transparent Hands and expressed her dire need for financial assistance to undergo the crucial C-section procedure.

Moved by her plight, our generous donors stepped forward to offer their support. She was admitted to Maryam Memorial Hospital in Rawalpindi, where Dr. Mona Kanwal, a skilled and experienced surgeon, would perform the C-section procedure.

On April 3, 2024, the day arrived, and Kiran underwent the C-section with the expertise and care of Dr. Mona Kanwal. The procedure was a success, and Kiran gave birth to a healthy baby boy, filling their lives with joy and relief. Kiran and her baby received excellent post-operative care and were discharged from the hospital after two days, both in healthy condition.

The immense gratitude that Kiran felt towards Transparent Hands and the compassionate donors was immeasurable. Their support had not only ensured a safe delivery for Kiran and her baby but had also removed the burden of financial uncertainty that had haunted her. The kindness and generosity shown by all donors had given Kiran and her growing family a chance at a brighter future. Inspired by this act of kindness, Kiran is determined to pay it forward and help others in need when she is able to do so.
