Komal Mushtaq's Story

Komal Mushtaq 14 years old girl was suffering from cyclical lower abdominal pain since her puberty in the absence of any menstrual cycle. She was diagnosed to have urogenital sinus, ectopic ureter and bicornuate uterus with a closed vaginal orifice. Her vaginoplasty was done at first stage. Later on, she developed urinary discharge from her vagina. She was planned for her second surgery – Uretrocystostomy. Her surgery was done in Akram Medical Complex on 26-04-19 by Dr Naveed Haider. She recovered well in six days of hospital stay and was discharged in good health without any urinary dribbling.
