Shahnaz Akhtar, a 50-year-old resident of Chakwal, had been suffering from excessive irregular vaginal bleeding for the last seven years. Upon consultation, she was diagnosed with Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (DUB). She was advised to undergo a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy + Bilateral Salpingo (TAH+BSO). A bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy is surgery to remove both of your ovaries and fallopian tubes.
