Saima Bano’s Arthroscopic Knee Debridement was Successful
Saima Bano 's Story
Saima Bano, a 46-year-old resident of Karachi, had been experiencing severe pain in her right knee for some time. Upon visiting a local hospital, she was diagnosed with a posterior horn medial meniscus tear in her right knee. The doctor recommended that she undergo an arthroscopic right knee debridement to address the issue.
Saima was admitted to Altamash Hospital in Karachi, where her surgery was performed by Dr. Yasir Khan on September 13th, 2022. The procedure was successful, and she was discharged after a two-day stay in the hospital. Thanks to the skilled care of the medical team and her commitment to post-operative rehabilitation, Saima has made a full recovery and is now able to resume her daily activities without the severe pain she once experienced.
Saima and her family are deeply grateful for the support they received during her medical journey. They extend their heartfelt appreciation to the hospital staff and Dr. Yasir Khan for their expertise and care, as well as to the donors who helped make her surgery possible. This success story is a testament to the transformative impact that medical interventions can have on individuals’ lives and the crucial role that donors play in making these interventions accessible to those in need.
