Saif Ullah Now Has Improved Vision
Saif Ullah's Story
Saif Ullah, an 11-year-old from Multan, was suffering from a left eye impairment. The condition resulted in the symptoms of pain and blurring of his left-eye vision. He went to a nearby hospital for consultation, where the doctor diagnosed him with a left eye cataract. His cataract needed to be corrected by LMA (Lens matter aspiration) + IOL (Intraocular Lens) surgery of the left eye.
Transparent Hands supported Saif’s first right-eye cataract surgery in January 2024. Now, he again required surgery for his left eye to fully regain his vision. However, the weight of financial constraints loomed heavily over the family, making the cost of the surgery an overwhelming challenge. Fortunately, they reached out to Transparent Hands, and we agreed to support Saif’s medical journey.
We successfully managed to admit Saif to Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Teaching Hospital in Multan on 20-06-2024. An experienced ophthalmologist Dr. Hassan Raza performed his cataract surgery on 21-06-2024. The surgery was a resounding success, effectively addressing Saif’s left-eye cataract and restoring his sight.
The restoration of Saif’s vision opened up a world of possibilities for him. Overjoyed, Saif’s family expressed their heartfelt gratitude as follows:
“We can’t describe our happiness in words. We are thankful to all community members who made this incredible transformation possible. Saif is now able to see the world.”
With his improved eyesight, Saif Ullah can now fully focus on his studies and explore his interests. Your contributions have given him a new, meaningful, and more productive life. He will never forget the day we changed his life.
