Sadia Rani Gave Birth to a Baby Boy
Sadia Rani's Story
Sadia Rani, a 36-year-old woman from Multan, faced a challenging moment in her life when she approached the end of her fourth pregnancy. Due to her history of three C-sections, she knew the risks involved. She consulted a gynecologist, who performed an ultrasound scan and some lab tests and decided to proceed with an elective C-section procedure. This course of action was planned just to avoid risks and potential complications. Sadia wanted the safety of her child but the cost of the C-section procedure was overwhelming for her family.
Sadia lived in a modest house with her five family members. As a housewife, she relied on her husband for living expenses. Her husband, the sole breadwinner in the family, was an employee in a private company and earned just PKR 18,000 per month. They were surviving in extreme poverty and affording to pay for her surgery was significantly challenging for them. Sadia and her husband wanted the safe delivery but their financial constraints left them in a desperate situation. During this difficult time, Sadia contacted Transparent Hands and asked us for assistance. After knowing about her situation, we swiftly registered her case.
The day of hope arrived and Sadia was admitted to Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Hospital in Multan. Dr. Humaira Imran performed her C-section surgery on 22nd August 2024. Her C-section went smoothly and she gave birth to a baby boy. Sadia stayed in the hospital for three days and she was discharged in a stable condition on 24th August 2024.
The relief she got after holding her newborn in her arms was immeasurable. She said with tears of happiness in her eyes:
“I became anxious when my doctor told me that I would need a C-section surgery. But your support came as a blessing. I am happy that my child and I are safe now. Thanks a lot for your help. I will forever be grateful to you.”
Sadia’s family sincerely thank you for your contributions. You enabled her to have a precious gift and spend her life with happiness.
