Saad Bin Abbas’ heart defect was fixed
Saad Bin Abbas's Story
Saad Bin Abbas, aged 3 years, a resident of Jhelum faced difficulty in breathing upon mild exertion. On medical consultation, he was diagnosed with Tetralogy Of Fallot (TOF). TOF is a birth defect that affects normal blood flow through the heart. The physician advised open heart surgery for total correction. For this purpose, Saad Bin Abbas was admitted to the University of Lahore Teaching Hospital and his open-heart surgery was performed by Dr. Salman A. Shah on 23.09.2021. He stayed in the hospital for six days and was discharged in a stable condition. Saad’s health has improved a great deal since his surgery.
