Nasir had his PSARP surgery
Muhammad Nasir's Story
Muhammad Nasir, 6 years old, was born with an anorectal malformation. In this congenital defect, the anus and rectum fail to develop properly. For treatment, the doctors performed a colostomy, two days after his birth. They further advised a second surgery called Posterior Sagittal Anorectoplasty (PSARP). This surgery was to be performed when he turned older. Presently, after attaining the desired age, he was ready to undergo PSARP surgery. Nasir was therefore admitted to Akram Medical Complex and was operated by Dr. Bilal Mirza on 05.02.2021. His back passage was surgically made in this surgery. He stayed in the hospital for four days and was discharged in a satisfactory condition. Nasir has recovered well from his second surgery.
