Muskan Nasir's Story

Muskan Nasir, a 22-year-old OT technician from Lahore, Pakistan, was faced with a daunting health challenge when she discovered a concerning lump in her right breast. Worried for her well-being, she promptly visited a general surgeon, who diagnosed her with fibroadenoma and recommended surgical removal.

However, Muskan’s limited income of 30,000 PKR per month made affording the necessary medical expenses a significant struggle. Feeling overwhelmed, she contacted Transparent Hands for financial assistance.

Thanks to the generosity of donors, Muskan was able to undergo the recommended excision of fibroadenoma surgery at Lahore Care Hospital on April 30, 2024. The procedure, expertly performed by Dr. Ahmed Fawad, was a success, and Muskan was discharged from the hospital after just one day of recovery.

Muskan Nasir was so grateful to Transparent Hands and all the donors who made this possible. The financial burden of this medical treatment would have been impossible for her to bear on her own. Thanks to the support she received. Now she could prioritize her health and access the care she needed.

Now, with the tumor successfully removed, Muskan Nasir can focus on her healing and return to her duties as an OT technician, where she continues to make a meaningful contribution to her local healthcare system and also feed her family without any fear.
