Muhammad Junaid’s Hip Pain is Gone
Muhammad Junaid's Story
Muhammad Junaid, a 30-year-old man from Mardan, was suffering from hip pain which was giving him extreme discomfort. He couldn’t walk without support and his condition took away his ability to provide for his family for the past five years. Simple activities like going up and down stairs, lifting objects, and even walking were significantly challenging for him. Concerned about his condition, he consulted a doctor, who did an x-ray and some diagnostic tests. After a thorough examination and evaluation, the doctor diagnosed him with left hip joint osteoarthritis and advised left total hip replacement to regain mobility and independence.
However, the significant cost of the surgery was overwhelming for Junaid as his financial situation was stretched thin. Junaid’s father passed away while serving in the military and he lives in an army quarter with his mother and siblings. Due to his illness, Junaid was unemployed and depended on his father’s pension for living expenses. After struggling for a while, Junaid’s family learned about Transparent Hands and asked us for help. Moved by his plea, we registered his case.
On 25-07-2024, Junaid was admitted to Zia Darman Hospital in Mardan. The following day, his left total hip replacement surgery was performed by Dr. Aiman Zia. The surgery was successful and Junaid was discharged on 27-07-2024.
Junaid expressed his happiness as follows:
“I am grateful for your help. You have enabled me to work and provide for my family. I was confined to bed for a long time, but now I feel like a new person. I can’t describe how happy I am. Thanks for being there and supporting me when I had nowhere else to turn.”
Hip replacement surgery has significantly improved Junaid’s mobility, allowing him to walk independently and engage in daily activities without discomfort. This procedure wouldn’t have been possible without your generous support. Your contributions played a pivotal relief in alleviating his pain, giving him hope and healing in his time of need.
