Muhammad Ahmed’s Atrial Switch Senning was Successful
Muhammad Ahmed's Story
Fourteen-month-old Ahmed, a resident of Faisalabad, had been suffering from dyspnea and cyanosis since birth. Upon consultation, he was diagnosed with Transposition of the Great Arteries, Intact Ventricular Septum, and Left Ventricular Regression. The cardiac surgeon advised Atrial Switch Senning. He was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital, Lahore, where his operation was performed by Dr. Asim Khan on 18-08-2022. He was discharged after five days of stay in the hospital. Pakistan’s Children’s Heart Foundation supported this surgery. He is in stable condition now.
