Momina’s TOF repair was made possible because of you
Momina Ijaz's Story
Momina Ijaz, a two-year-old resident of Lahore, had been enduring unimaginable breathing difficulties since birth. Upon workup, she was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). The doctor advised her to undergo Total correction for TOF after an Open Heart Surgery. Her parents could not afford the procedure so they contacted Transparent Hands for help. We were dedicated to help them and with your contributions and the help of Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation, we were able to do so. Hence, Momina was admitted to University of Lahore Teaching Hospital. She got her total correction surgery done by Dr. Salman A Shah on 12-11-2021 successfully. She was discharged after six days of hospital stay in a satisfactory condition. Momina Ijaz has now recovered and she is living with a healthy heart.
