Mehrab Bibi, a resilient 19-year-old mother from Rawalpindi, found herself in a challenging situation as she anticipated the arrival of her third child. Having previously delivered one baby via C-section and with a history of abortion, her doctor recommended another Lower Segment Cesarean section for the safety of both herself and her unborn child.

In her seventh month of pregnancy, Mehrab sought medical advice at the local hospital. Considering her past medical records and her current situation, her gynecologist advised the critical need for another C-section. However, with a monthly household income of only PKR 20,000, their financial situation posed a significant obstacle to affording the necessary surgery that could safeguard the health of both mother and baby.

Living with her husband and three children, Mehrab bravely voiced her distressing circumstances, emphasizing the dire need for financial assistance. Transparent Hands became her ray of hope, and she sought crucial support for C-section delivery.

Thanks to the unwavering generosity of compassionate donors, Mehrab was admitted to Maryam Memorial Hospital on 13th September 2023. Under the skilled hands of Dr. Sadia, the essential C-section procedure was conducted the same day, ensuring a safe delivery for both mother and child.

After one day, Mehrab was discharged from Maryam Memorial Hospital in a satisfactory condition, ready to embrace motherhood with renewed strength and gratitude. Her joy knew no bounds as she welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world.
