Kinza Nasir's Story

Kinza Nasir, an 18-year-old resident of Kasur, was born with a congenital cardiac defect. Upon consultation, she was diagnosed with Ventricular Septal Defect. The doctor advised her to undergo Ventricular Septal Defect Closure after open heart surgery. Therefore, she was sent to University of Lahore Teaching Hospital to get her surgery done by Dr. Faiz Rasool on 4-01-2022. Kinza stayed in the hospital for five days until she was seen recovering well. She was discharged in satisfactory condition. This surgery was made possible with the help of Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation. Kinza is now cured.
