Kalsoom’s Thyroidectomy has given her relief

Kalsoom, aged 52 years, a resident of Gujrat suffered from a neck lump and dyspnea for the last 5 year. She went to the doctor and got her symptomatic treatment after being diagnosed as a goiter. Despite that, her condition did not improve. Then she went to a specialist and after a thorough evaluation, Kalsoom was advised by her doctor to undergo a right Hemithyroidectomy. For this purpose, she was admitted to City Hospital Gujrat and the surgery was performed by Dr. Khawar Iqbal on 3.10.2021. She stayed in the hospital for two days and was discharged in a stable condition. Kalsoom’s recovery is steady since she is taking bed rest as advised by her surgeon.
