Kaleem Abbas's Story
Six-year-old Kaleem Abbas, a resident of Chiniot, was suffering from high fever, repeated chest infections, and dyspnea on mild exertion. His parents took him to the hospital. After getting his Echo test results, the doctors diagnosed him with an atrial septal defect (ASD). ASD is a hole in the wall between the two upper chambers of the heart. The cardiologist advised ASD closure by device occlusion. For this purpose, Kaleem Abbas was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital and his procedure was performed by Dr. Masood Sadiq on 03.03.2022.
