Irha Bibi's Story

Two-year-old Irha’s bright eyes and infectious smile captivate all who encounter her, but behind her cheerful facade lies a silent struggle. Born in Hyderabad, Irha has been robbed of the precious gift of hearing, leaving her isolated in a world devoid of sound.

When Irha’s family sought medical advice, the doctor’s recommendation was clear: cochlear implant surgery, a complex and costly procedure that could restore Irha’s hearing. After just two days of recovery, Irha was discharged, embarking on her journey to a world filled with the sounds she had never experienced before.

In the weeks that followed, the external component of the cochlear implant was fixed, and Irha began a series of transformative speech therapy sessions. With each passing day, her ability to respond to voices and engage with her surroundings blossomed, bringing immense joy to her family.
