The cardiac surgeon advised him to undergo open-heart surgery for a bilateral CP shunt. However, the family found themselves in a state of financial distress, desperately needing support. Hussain was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital, Lahore, where his operation was performed by Dr. Asim on 9-03-2023. After a remarkable recovery, Hussain was discharged from the hospital, having spent six days under its care.
