Farzana Bibi’s Contracture Release Was Successful

Farzana Bibi's Story

Farzana Bibi, a 13-years-old resident of Vehari, got her right hand burnt in a fire. She was taken to the emergency room for first aid management and advised to do dressings at home. Unfortunately, due to a lack of adequate care, her condition worsened. Her parents took her to the doctor again and she was diagnosed with post-burn contracture of the right hand. The doctor advised her to undergo contracture release surgery. For this purpose, Farzana was admitted to Lahore Care Hospital and the surgery was performed by Dr. Imran on 12.01.2022. She stayed in the hospital for two days and was discharged in a stable condition.
