Bibi Aasma was Overjoyed to Deliver a Baby Boy
Bibi Aasma's Story
Bibi Aasma, a 38-year-old woman from Karachi, was expecting her sixth child and had undergone a C-section earlier. To make the delivery safe, she consulted a doctor. After a thorough examination and evaluation, the doctor advised another C-section to ensure that Aasma and her child remained safe. However, the cost of the C-section procedure was overwhelming for Aasma’s family.
Aasma lives in a small rented house with her husband and five children. Her husband, the sole provider for the family, earns just PKR 22000 monthly. The entire family relies upon him for living expenses. Feeling anxious about how they would manage the surgery expenses, Aasma reached out to Transparent Hands. Recognizing the need for the surgery, we promptly registered her case.
On 23-05-2024, Bibi Aasma was admitted to Murshid Hospital Karachi. Dr. Farkhanda, an experienced gynecologist carefully managed her case and performed the surgery. The C-section was successful, and Aasma delivered a healthy baby boy. She was hospitalized for three days and received necessary medications and care from the medical staff.
After holding her newborn baby in her arms, she felt the pure joy of bringing a new life into the world.
“I have no words to describe my happiness. Due to our financial hardships, my husband is not able to pay for my surgery. I’m so grateful for the support that allowed me to deliver my son safely,” Aasma shared, her voice filled with relief and gratitude.
The successful C-section surgery allowed her to overcome the risks and to bring her son safely into the world. Now, she can focus on nurturing her children, knowing that she has overcome one of the biggest challenges with the support of donors. We are incredibly thankful to the donors whose generosity made this surgery possible. Your contributions have made a lasting impact on Aasma’s life, ensuring that her path to motherhood was safe and filled with hope.
Your kindness has given her the gift of peace, and for that, her family is deeply grateful.
