Bakht Mena can Walk Again Without Pain
Bakht Mena's Story
Bakht Mena, a 62-year-old resident of Mardan, had been suffering from pain and swelling in her legs for the last year. The constant pain and discomfort made it difficult for her to move around and carry out her daily activities. Upon consultation with a doctor, she was diagnosed with right knee Osteoarthritis, a condition that causes the cartilage in the knee to wear away over time, leading to pain and stiffness.
The doctor advised her to undergo total knee replacement surgery on her right knee, a procedure that would replace the damaged knee joint with an artificial one. Bakht Mena was admitted to Akbar Medical Complex in Mardan, where her operation was performed by the skilled surgeon Dr. Khurram on August 20, 2022. The surgery was a success and Bakht Mena was discharged from the hospital after a three-day stay. Bakht Mena’s surgery was a success, and she was able to regain her mobility. She was now able to walk without pain and discomfort.
