Ayesha Imran, a 30-year-old woman from Lahore, was expecting the arrival of her third child. With a history of two previous C-sections, she approached her doctor filled with anxiety and hope. After a thorough examination, her doctor expressed concerns about complications due to her medical history. The doctor strongly recommended a third C-section to ensure safe delivery and avoid potential complications. However, the surgical cost was overwhelming for Ayesha’s family.

Ayesha lives in a small rented house with her husband and two children. Her husband, the sole provider for the family, worked as a tailor and earned just PKR 40,000 monthly. This income was insufficient to pay for the house rent, utility bills, and groceries.
