Aimen’s Heart Surgery was Successful
Aiman Fatima's Story
Nine-year-old Aimen, a resident of Khushab, suffered from cyanosis, dyspnea, and repeated episodes of chest infection. Her mother learned about her condition when she was 1 year old. She took her to the hospital. After running some diagnostic tests, the cardiologist diagnosed her with dextrocardia, tricuspid atresia, and pulmonary stenosis. Following angiography, the doctor advised her to undergo open heart surgery and a CP Shunt. Her mother cannot afford to pay for this costly cardiac surgery. She reached out to Transparent Hands for help. After the case registration, she was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital, Lahore, where her operation was performed by Dr. Asim Khan on 9-02-2023. She was discharged from the hospital after a six-day stay.
Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, Aimen’s life has been transformed.
