Abdullah Ahmed 's Story

Abdullah Ahmed 4 ½ years old boy was suffering from Anorectal Malformation (ARM) resulting in absent back passage – Imperforate Anus. His emergency colostomy was done after his birth to make temporary passage for stools. He was advised another surgery to construct his back passage at the normal site. His surgery was done in Akram Medical Complex on 13-09-19 by Dr. Naveed Haider and his Posterior Sagittal Anorectoplasty (PSARP) was done. He stayed for three days in hospital with good post-operative recovery and was discharged with follow-up advice.
