If healthcare remains available just for the rich people, who can afford to pay immediate cash for the medical facilities it would be terribly unjust to humanity. Every patient should be treated equally and with respect regardless of their financial condition. Whether rich or poor, all human beings should receive medical assistance.Your gender, age, race, caste, religion or financial status should never determine your right to access quality health care.
The financial condition of poor families deteriorates even more as they are forced to pay for expensive health care services, medicines and diagnosis. Even if we cannot give them permanent relief from the suffocating situation, we can at least try to encounter the situation with a temporary relief.
This motto has encouraged NGO’s, nonprofits and some medical trusts to come forward and organize mobile medical camps in rural and urban areas, to provide free and basic medical care to poor patients. Often surgical cases identified in these camps are registered with the NGO’s for free of cost surgeries.
Again the NGO’s, nonprofits or medical trusts never sat back and waited for the government, to take steps to resolve the existing crises in our healthcare system. These organizations came forward and built online fundraising platforms to gather funds for the treatment of poor and needy patients.
