Transparent Hands, Pakistan’s leading online crowdfunding platform in the healthcare sector, stepped into a partnership with Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Teaching & Research Hospital. On 26th November 2024, the two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to provide free medical and surgical care to needy patients across Pakistan.

The MOU signing ceremony was also attended by Mr. Rizwan Chattha, COO of CMA Hospital, and Dr. Ammar, Assistant Professor at CMA Hospital. In addition, Transparent Hands was represented by Mr. Samar Abbas, Manager of Business Development.

As per the MOU, CMA Hospital will provide surgical and medical care to deserving patients registered with Transparent Hands, ensuring access to high-quality healthcare. These patients will receive essential pre-and post-operative care, including consultations and medicines. Through this collaboration, both organizations strive to address the healthcare needs of underprivileged individuals across Pakistan.

Under this MoU, CMA Hospital will also provide life-changing cochlear implant surgeries and speech therapy sessions to needy patients registered with Transparent Hands on agreed rates. Additionally, both organizations will try to organize conferences, medical camps, seminars, and other awareness activities to improve the quality of life of needy individuals.

The collaboration aims to remove financial barriers for low-income families in accessing quality health care.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Raheel Abbas said: “This partnership reflects our commitment to reducing inequalities in access to quality surgical and medical care across Pakistan. By joining hands with CMA Hospital, we can significantly expand our capacity to provide necessary surgical treatments to the most deserving patients.”

This MOU is a significant step towards addressing the healthcare needs of vulnerable and low-income populations. Transparent Hands and CMA Hospital are committed to bringing hope and healing to an increasing number of people in Pakistan.
