Transparent Hands and Roche Pakistan Limited Sign MOU for Breast Cancer Awareness and Support
Transparent Hands, a leading nonprofit organization providing free medical treatment to the poor and underprivileged in Pakistan, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Roche Pakistan Limited. On July 18, 2023, the two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to raise awareness about breast cancer and support patients in their journey to recovery.
The MOU was signed by Rameeza Mueen, Chief Executive Officer of Transparent Hand, and Hafsa Shamie, General Manager of Roche.
This partnership will allow Roche to work closely with Transparent Hands in spreading awareness about breast cancer and supporting patients in various capacities on their journey to recovery. With this collaboration, both organizations are determined to make a significant impact in the lives of those battling breast cancer and enhance healthcare access for those in need.
Through this partnership, Roche aims to help Transparent Hands in multiple ways.
First, Roche Pakistan Limited will alleviate Transparent Hands’ financial burden by providing free-of-cost medication to Transparent Hands patients (for patients prescribed Roche medication) as per its PSP Schemes.
Second, Roche Pakistan Limited will provide Transparent Hands with access to its expertise and resources in breast cancer care under its patient support program, UNMOL.
Third, Roche Pakistan will connect patients who require financial assistance for breast cancer through its UNMOL program with Transparent Hands.
Fourth, Roche Pakistan Limited will work with Transparent Hands to raise awareness about breast cancer and encourage early detection and treatment.
This mutually beneficial partnership will allow Transparent Hands and Roche Pakistan Limited to work side-by-side in the battle against cancer, a devastating disease that affects millions of people around the world. By combining their resources and expertise, the two organizations will be able to make a significant impact on the lives of cancer patients and their families.
