Transparent Hands and Nixor Hospital Join Hands to Support Needy Patients in Pakistan
Transparent Hands, Pakistan’s leading online crowdfunding platform in the healthcare sector, is pleased to announce a partnership with Nixor Hospital. On 9th August 2024, the two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to extend necessary medical and surgical care to needy patients across Pakistan.
The MOU was signed by Mr. Muhammad Yousaf Khatri, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nixor Hospital, and Mr. Raheel Abbas, Director of Operations at Transparent Hands.
As per the MOU, Nixor Hospital will identify and refer cases of needy patients, requiring medical and surgical interventions, including hearing aid procedures, gallbladder stone removal, cardiac care, rehabilitation procedures, orthopedic surgeries, urology, general surgery, and oncological surgical procedures to Transparent Hands. Nixor Hospital will also contribute to the medical and surgical treatment of needy patients. Transparent Hands will verify each case referred by Nixor Hospital, assessing the medical and financial eligibility of patients, before referring them to their network of partner hospitals.
This collaboration aims to ensure that underprivileged patients receive high-quality medical and surgical care at no cost, improving health outcomes and enhancing lives. Nixor Hospital’s representatives may also accompany the Transparent Hands team in visiting hospitals.
Raheel Abbas, Director of Operations at Transparent Hands, highlighted the significance of this partnership, and said, “Our collaboration with Nixor Hospital allows us to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who desperately need surgical and medical care but cannot afford their treatments. By combining our strengths, we can reach more deserving patients in Pakistan.”
This MOU is another important stepping stone towards fulfilling Transparent Hands’ mission to bridge the gaps in Pakistan’s healthcare sector. By working together, Transparent Hands and Nixor Hospital will make essential surgical and medical treatments available to a large number of deserving patients. This partnership promises to enhance the quality of life for countless individuals, ensuring that even the most vulnerable have the opportunity to lead healthy, and productive lives.
