Transparent Hands and NCHD Sign an MoU to Organize Free Medical Camps in Punjab
Transparent Hands, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free surgeries and medical assistance to underprivileged communities, is pleased to announce a partnership with the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD). On October 23, 2024, the two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to organize free medical camps in various districts of Punjab.
The MOU was signed by Mr. Raheel Abbas, Transparent Hands’ Director of Operations, and Mr. Sajid Ali, Director of Operations, National Commission for Human Development (Punjab).
Under the terms of this MOU, Transparent Hands and the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) will work closely to help needy patients in Punjab by arranging free medical camps. Transparent Hands will contribute its extensive medical expertise, equipment, medicines, and trained healthcare professionals to provide consultations, diagnostic tests, and treatments to the most deserving patients in the province.
National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) will provide trained volunteers, refreshments, and suitable venues for the medical camps. Moreover, the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) will provide logistical support and raise awareness about the medical camps.
Through this partnership, the two organizations are committed to extending essential healthcare services to deserving patients who otherwise can’t afford them due to their financial limitations. Each free medical camp will cover a wide spectrum of health services, ranging from general check-ups and medicines to diagnostic tests and preventive healthcare sessions.
Mr. Raheel Abbas, Director of Operations at Transparent Hands said, “We are honored to join hands with NCHD to make healthcare more accessible for the underprivileged people in Punjab. Together, we aim to provide not just healthcare services, but empower the needy to become healthier, more productive members of society. With NCHD’s support in organizing these camps, we can expand our free healthcare services to more low-income, remote, and vulnerable communities.”
This MOU represents a significant step forward in addressing the healthcare needs of Punjab’s underserved communities. Both organizations will help ensure that each medical camp is efficiently organized and quality medical services are accessible to as many people as possible. Together, Transparent Hands and NCHD are committed to creating lasting change.
