Transparent Hands and Evercare Hospital Lahore Sign MOU to Provide Free Quality Healthcare.

Transparent Hands, a leading nonprofit organization providing free medical treatment to the poor and underprivileged in Pakistan, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Evercare Hospital Lahore. On October 24, 2023, the two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to improve the underprivileged community’s access to life-changing cochlear implant surgery and other general treatments.

The MOU was signed by Raheel Abbas, Director of Transparent Hands; and Irfan Khan, Chief Executive Officer, of Evercare Hospital Lahore.

The partnership will allow Evercare Hospital Lahore to work closely with Transparent Hands in various capacities, including providing free cochlear implant surgeries and other general surgeries/treatments for one year.

Through this partnership, we aim to achieve the following objectives:

• Providing free life-changing surgeries, including cochlear implant procedures, to underprivileged patients.
• Reducing the financial burden on underprivileged families, allowing them to allocate resources to other essential expenses.
• Improving access to healthcare for underprivileged individuals is a key outcome of the Transparent Hands and Evercare Hospital Lahore collaboration.

In accordance with this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), both entities will work together to deliver high-quality healthcare services to patients from disadvantaged backgrounds. Eligible patients will receive surgeries, medical treatments, and medications at no cost. This collaborative opportunity will enable Evercare Hospital Lahore to contribute its skills, expertise, and resources to Transparent Hands while also working for the betterment of underprivileged patients in Pakistan.

Since 2014, Transparent Hands has been working tirelessly to provide free surgeries and organize free medical camps. With its partnership with Evercare Hospital Lahore, Transparent Hands aims to fight against the disparity of healthcare access and work toward the common goal of making quality healthcare accessible for those who need it most.
