Zaitoon Bibi, aged fifty eight, a resident of Sher Garh, has been enduring pain in her right knee joint from the last eight years of her life. She took symptomatic treatment from a local doctor, but her pain only got worse. She decided to go to doctor when her pain became unbearable for her.Upon consultation, the doctor diagnosed her with severe knee Osteoarthritis. After the diagnosis, the doctor advised her to undergo right Total Knee Replacement. Zaitoon Bibi lives in a joint family where the only breadwinner is her son. 

Zaitoon Bibi’s son is a laborer and merely earns enough to feed eight people. They all depend on him for their basic needs. In these gloomy times, and a pandemic going on, it has become very difficult for him to meet both ends. Zaitoon Bibi is old and with her movement limited, it is her affecting her not just physically but mentally. Zaitoon’s son shared his distress with Transparent Hands in the following manner:
