Vehicle Required for Providing Healthcare Services
Millions of patients in Pakistan face hurdles while accessing healthcare. Transparent Hands has been bridging the gaps in the country’s healthcare system by providing quality surgical and medical care free of charge to needy patients. The organization has uplifted numerous low-income communities through free medical camps and made a lasting impact across Pakistan. However, to continue and expand our healthcare initiatives, we need our own vehicle. This vehicle will enable us to deliver healthcare services more efficiently and serve an increasing number of patients.
Cost
- Cost of purchasing the vehicle: PKR 31,25000 (USD 11,299.9 ) (GBP 8,736.3) (1200 cc, seven-seater, Changan Karvaan)
- Annual running cost: PKR 1,200,000 (USD 4339) (GBP 3,354.7) (Driver’s salary & fuel expenses).
- Total cost: PKR 43,25000 (USD 15,639.12) (GBP 12,090.80) (purchasing cost + annual running cost)
Current Challenges
Our medical team arranges multiple free medical camps every month in some of Pakistan’s most remote, rural, and underserved areas. To travel to these locations for the medical camps and to transport the medicines and equipment, our team has to depend on vehicle rental services, which are inefficient and also not cost-effective.
In addition, many patients do not have the means and funds to arrange their own transportation. Due to this reason, they cannot reach healthcare providers to access necessary surgical and medical care.
Transparent Hands’ Solution
With Transparent Hands’ own vehicle, it would be easier, more affordable, and efficient for our team to arrange the free medical camps. A seven-seater vehicle will be sufficient to carry our team to the medical camps. It would also make it possible for us to support deserving patients who need transportation to access their treatments.
Achieving this milestone will help Transparent Hands continue its mission of making quality healthcare accessible to the needy across Pakistan. Contribute today and provide free surgical and medical care to an increasing number of people who cannot afford to pay for their treatments.
