Secure Huzaifa’s Future with Heart Surgery
Muhammad Huzaifa's Story
Ten-year-old Muhammad Huzaifa from Ama Khel, KPK, has spent his entire life battling with shortness of breath and chest discomfort. While other children of his age run and play freely, Huzaifa struggles to take a few steps without feeling exhausted. His parents have watched helplessly as their son gasps for breath. Hoping for answers, they took him for a medical checkup. After a detailed evaluation, the doctor diagnosed Huzaifa with VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect), LVOTO (Left Ventricular Outflow Tract Obstruction), and RCC Prolapse (Right Coronary Cusp Prolapse). The doctors have advised open-heart surgery for VSD Closure, the only procedure that can save his life. However, his family can’t afford the surgery.
Without the surgery, Huzaifa’s condition will continue to worsen. He may face life-threatening complications.
Huzaifa lives in a rented house with six family members. His father, the sole breadwinner in the family, works as an Imam, earning just PKR 10,000 per month. With a house rent of PKR 8000, utility bills of PKR 2000, and educational expenses of PKR 3000, they struggle to make ends meet. Additionally, they are burdened with a loan of PKR 400,000, making it impossible for them to afford Huzaifa’s life-saving surgery. During this time of need, Huzaifa’s family reached out to Transparent Hands and asked for help.
With tears in his eyes, Huzaifa’s father shared his pain as follows:
“I feel helpless. My son is fighting for his life, and I do not have the means to save him. No parent should ever have to experience such helplessness. Please save my son.”
Huzaifa’s life depends on this surgery, and his family needs your help to make it possible. Every day without treatment brings more risks and suffering for this young boy.
Huzaifa deserves a chance to live a healthy and active life. Let’s join hands and help him undergo the life-saving heart surgery.
