Save Muhammad Ashraf’s Life with Heart Surgery

Muhammad Ashraf's Story
Muhammad Ashraf, a 59-year-old man from Chakwal, has been living a life overshadowed by persistent breathlessness, weakness, and chest pain. Once able to move around freely and take care of his daily responsibilities, Ashraf now finds himself constantly fatigued. Even tasks like climbing a few stairs or walking short distances leave him gasping for air and drained of energy.
Recently, Ashraf went to a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After a series of diagnostic tests and evaluations, the doctor diagnosed him with Severe Aortic Stenosis (AS) and Moderate Aortic Regurgitation (AR)—serious heart valve diseases that restrict normal blood flow. To save his life, the doctor has recommended Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR) surgery. However, the surgical cost is out of his reach.
Without the surgery, Ashraf’s condition will continue to deteriorate. He may face irreversible heart damage, frequent hospitalizations, and a severely diminished quality of life.
Due to his illness, Ashraf is unable to work. He lives in his own modest home with his family, relying solely on his son’s income. His son works at a private company and earns PKR 45,000 per month. After covering essential utility bills of PKR 7,000 and other household expenses, nothing remains for the life-saving treatment. Ashraf’s family is devastated. Despite their best efforts, they are unable to arrange the amount needed for the surgery. During this time of need, Ashraf has turned to Transparent Hands for help.
With a heavy heart, Ashraf said:
“I want to live without this constant pain in my chest. I want to breathe freely again and spend more time with my family. But this surgery is something I can’t afford on my own. Kindly help me get my life back.”
