Save Daniyal’s Life with Heart Surgery
Muhammad Daniyal Fahim's Story
Muhammad Daniyal Fahim, an innocent 2-year-old boy from Faisalabad, has been suffering from shortness of breath and chest discomfort since birth. Daniyal often remains tired, and his skin frequently turns blue, which makes his parents concerned about his condition. When they took him to a local hospital, they got a shocking diagnosis. Daniyal suffers from Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), where the positions of the aorta and pulmonary artery are switched, and Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) – an abnormal opening between the heart’s atria, affecting blood circulation. To heal his heart, the doctor advised open-heart surgery (senning procedure). However, Daniyal’s family is unable to pay for the surgery.
Not undergoing the surgery may lead to serious health complications. Without it, Daniyal will not be able to beat the disease and his long-term survival will be significantly compromised.
Daniyal lives in a modest house with his joint family of eight members. His father is unemployed which is putting a strain on the family’s finances. Daniyal’s grandfather, the sole breadwinner in the family, works as a daily wage laborer and brings in just PKR 30,000 per month. With this meager monthly income, they barely cover utility bills amounting to PKR 5000 as well as food and other living expenses. Daniyal’s life-saving surgery is costly and their financial limitations make it impossible for them to pay for his surgery. During this time of need, Daniyal’s parents turned to Transparent Hands and asked for help.
Daniyal’s parents expressed their heartfelt plea as follows:
“We want to see our child play and grow like other kids. We wish to give him a life full of possibilities but we are unable to do so. Please donate and give our son the chance to survive.”
Daniyal is counting on your kindness. With your support, he will be able to thrive in life without facing health issues. We ask you to be generous and save Daniyal’s life.
Come forward to make a life-changing difference.
