A tragic road accident changed her life completely. Samra was hit by a car which resulted in her left leg getting crushed beyond repair. After she was rushed to the hospital, upon medical evaluation, the doctor discovered severe trauma to the left leg. Her left limb was completely crushed and it was not possible to save it. Therefore, the doctors had to amputate her left leg above the knee level.
Samra is a bright young lady who is studying on scholarship. She is an orphan and lives in a hostel. She has two more sisters who are younger than her. A friend recommended Samra to visit Transparent hands for her prosthesis.
“Being the elder sister and an orphan makes it even more difficult for me. I’m studying very hard to get to the point where I am able to help support my younger sisters with their education. Getting a prosthesis seemed like a dream until my friend told me about Transparent Hands. Now I’m hopeful.”
