Salahuddin, aged forty-three, a resident of Miyanwali, has been suffering from sudden chest pain for the last two months. Angina is chest pain or discomfort caused when your heart muscle doesn’t get enough oxygen-rich blood. It may feel like pressure or squeezing in your chest. Upon consultation, Salahuddin underwent multiple diagnostic tests. After evaluating the results the doctor advised him to get an Angiography. His Angiography was performed. His Angiography reports revealed that Salahuddin is suffering from Triple vessel coronary artery Disease (TVCAD). Coronary Artery Disease is the term given to heart problems caused by narrowed or blocked arteries, Coronary arteries supply blood to the heart muscle. To treat this condition the Cardiologist advised Coronary Artery Bypass Graft – Open Heart Surgery.
Salahuddin works as a domestic helper and earns PKR. 18,000. Unfortunately, he cannot afford the hefty cost of this procedure. Salahuddin shared his distress with us in the following manner:
“I work as an ordinary helper and merely earn enough to manage and provide for everyday basics. I have five people depending on me for their needs. I cannot afford to fall sick. Please help me.”
Now that Salahuddin has been registered with Transparent Hands, we are determined to help him get cured and live a better healthier life. This will not be possible without your kindness and support. We urge you to please donate as much as you can and aid Salahuddin’s Open Heart Surgery. As Salahuddin awaits Open Heart Surgery we urge you kindly help him get rid of this disease.
