Sadia Bibi's Story

Meet Sadia Bibi, a brave 21-year-old woman from Multan, a mother of two, who is anxiously awaiting the arrival of her third child. Sadia’s life is filled with both joy and challenges. She consulted a gynecologist about her condition. She has previously undergone two C-section deliveries, which means she’s facing a higher risk of complications. The doctor has advised a C-section to ensure the safe delivery of her baby.

Sadia’s high-risk pregnancy is making her anxious and worried. She lives in a two-room rented house with her husband and two children. Her husband, the sole breadwinner in the family, brings in just PKR 20,000 per month. With house rent amounting to PKR 3000 and utility bills of PKR 3500, they hardly make ends meet. Due to their financial constraints, they cannot afford the crucial C-section surgery.

In this challenging time, Sadia’s family reached out to Transparent Hands and asked us for help.

Sadia’s husband expressed his plight as follows:

“I am deeply worried about my wife and the baby. I want nothing more than for them to be safe and healthy, but I simply cannot afford the surgery. I humbly request all the donors to please come forward and help us.”

Sadia Bibi's Story

Sadia Bibi, a 21-year-old woman from Multan, was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her third child. Having already undergone two C-section surgeries in the past, she knew that her delivery would require extra care. She went to a nearby hospital and consulted a doctor, who performed a thorough examination and evaluation and recommended another C-section for her child’s safety. Her pregnancy was high-risk and attempting a natural delivery could create complications. Therefore, her doctor decided to go for an elective C-section. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery was overwhelming for her family.

Sadia lived in a modest rented house with her husband and two children. Her husband, the sole breadwinner in the family, worked as a daily wage laborer and earned just PKR 20,000 per month. With a family already struggling to meet basic needs, they couldn’t imagine how they would cover the expensive C-section procedure. Sadia was filled with anxiety, knowing that without the surgery, her baby’s life could be in danger. That’s when Sadia decided to contact Transparent Hands. After evaluating her situation, we quickly registered her case.

On 6th September 2024, Sadia was admitted to Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Hospital in Multan. Her surgery was scheduled for the following day, 7th September 2024. Dr. Hina Zahra performed her C-section surgery. The procedure went smoothly and she gave birth to a baby boy.

Sadia was delighted when she realized that she and her baby were safe. Sadia stayed in the hospital for three days and was discharged in a stable condition on 9th September 2024. Sadia expressed his overwhelming gratitude as follows:

“I was so worried about my health and my baby’s safety. Thanks to your support, we both are healthy and safe. I will forever be grateful for this life-saving help.”

Your generosity made a meaningful impact on Sadia’s life. Your support saved her life and allowed Sadia to welcome her new child with peace of mind. Her family extends their heartfelt thanks to you for your help in ensuring the safe delivery.
