Sabiha Naz's Story

Meet Sabiha Naz, a 47-year-old woman from Hyderabad, who has been suffering from discomfort due to a lump on the back of her upper chest for the past two years. Activities like sleeping, dressing up, and sitting have become significantly challenging for her. She is unable to maintain her home and care for her children. Hoping to seek medical relief, she consulted a doctor. After performing a detailed evaluation, the doctor diagnosed Sabiha with a Sebaceous cyst on the back. It is a benign and fluid-filled bump under the skin that forms when oil glands become blocked or damaged. To relieve her discomfort, her doctor has recommended the excision of a sebaceous cyst. However, Sabiha’s family can’t afford to pay for her surgery.

Not undergoing the surgery may lead to potential complications. There is a risk of infection, especially if it becomes inflamed or irritates the surrounding skin. Moreover, it may develop into cancer.

Sabiha lives in a modest home with her husband and four school-going children. All of her children study in a government school. Her husband has been unemployed for the past few months, and their household expenses are being managed through her mother’s pension. They are facing extreme financial hardships and struggle to make ends meet. Sabiha’s much-needed surgery is costly and beyond their financial capacity. During this difficult time, Sabiha contacted Transparent Hands and asked for assistance.

Sabiha said in despair:

“All I want is a life free from discomfort. Every day is a struggle, yet I hold on to hope. I want a life without any illness. Due to my husband’s unemployment, we are struggling to provide for our children. I request you to support my surgery.”

Sabiha is counting on your kindness. With your support, she can receive the surgery and finally overcome the condition that has disrupted her life. We ask you to be generous and support Sabiha’s surgery. Contribute now.
