Aafaq Saeed, a 26-year-old young man from Islamabad, is suffering from pain and inflammation in his right knee joint. It has greatly reduced his range of motion and made it impossible for him to walk without support. Simple activities such as standing for too long, walking, or even climbing stairs have become unbearable for him. After performing diagnostic tests, the doctor diagnosed him with Right Knee Osteoarthritis, a condition that is extremely rare at his age. His doctor has recommended Right Total Knee Replacement (TKR) surgery to restore his mobility and relieve the pain. Unfortunately, Aafaq can’t pay for his surgery.

Without this surgery, his condition will only worsen. It may possibly lead to complete immobility.

Aafaq currently works at a call center, earning PKR 35,000 per month. Though he continues to work despite the pain, it becomes increasingly difficult for him to manage his daily tasks. His father works as a driver, and together they try to provide for their joint family of seven, which includes Aafaq’s three siblings. With growing household expenses, rent, and utility bills, affording such an expensive surgical procedure is simply out of reach for them.
