Muzamil Hussain's Story

Muzamil Hussain, a 2-year-old boy from Rahim Yar Khan, has been suffering from breathlessness and chest discomfort since birth. He is unable to gain proper weight, and his skin and lips often turn blue. Even mild activity like crawling or playing leaves him breathless and fatigued. Worried about their son’s condition, Muzamil’s parents took him to a local hospital. After performing a series of diagnostic tests, the doctor diagnosed Muzamil with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), a serious congenital heart defect that affects blood flow through the heart. The only way to improve Muzamil’s condition and save his life is through TOF repair surgery. However, the cost of the surgery is far beyond his family’s reach.

Without the recommended surgery, Muzamil’s condition will only worsen. It may lead to severe complications, and he will not be able to beat the disease.

Muzamil lives in a small rented house with his parents and siblings. His father works as a laborer, earning just PKR 20,000 per month. From this modest income, they spend PKR 4000 on house rent and PKR 1500 on utility bills. They face immense financial hardships and hardly make ends meet. With little left for daily expenses and no savings, affording the cost of their son’s heart surgery is impossible for them. During this time of need, his family contacted Transparent Hands and asked for help.

Muzamil’s mother said:

“Every breath my son takes is a struggle. I feel helpless watching him suffer. He deserves a chance to run, play, and live without pain. However, we can’t afford his life-saving surgery. Kindly save our son’s life.”

Your support will enable him to live a life free from heart complications. Let’s stand together to give this little boy the bright and happy future he truly deserves.
