Muhammad Rasheed awaits Prosthesis
Muhammad Rasheed's Story
Muhammad Rasheed awaits prosthesis and needs your help to undergo the procedure. Before you go on to read about Muhammad Rasheed’s woes, know that your smallest contribution can help and give him a new chance in life. Therefore, we would like to request you to please donate generously for Rasheed and help make his life better.
Muhammad Rasheed, a sixty-five-year-old resident of Lahore, would have never thought that his life would change in a blink of an eye. Nine years ago, while Rasheed was out earning a living, he met with a tragic accident. Rasheed was hit in a road accident that badly injured his leg. He was rushed to the hospital. Upon diagnosis, the doctors found that his left leg had been badly crushed below the knee level. Doctors told Rasheed that they will have to amputate his left leg below the knee since Rasheed had already been suffering from diabetes.
Rasheed worked as an electrician before the unfortunate accident and was the only person earning in the house. Rasheed supports his wife and their five daughters. He hardly manages to put food on the table. Rasheed had lost all hope in life until he found out about Transparent Hands through a friend.
“This tragedy has affected my life in so many ways. I am the only person responsible for supporting a family of six. In these circumstances and financial constraints, it is impossible for me to afford a prosthetic leg. Now that we are connected with Transparent Hands, I see a ray of hope.”
We have registered Rasheed’s case and we look forward to your aid to help provide Rasheed a prosthetic leg. This will only be possible with your generous support. We urge you to please contribute as much as you can as Muhammad Rasheed awaits prosthesis to walk again.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website.
