Muhammad Rafique’s Cardiac Surgery
Muhammad Rafique's Story
Before diving into the gory details of Muhammad Rafique ailment, we want you to know that you can help an ailing heart. So please donate for Muhammad Rafique’s Cardiac Surgery as much as you can.
Muhammad Rafique, aged 52 years, from Sahiwal was suffering from chest pain for a month. His son took him to the hospital for a checkup. After a thorough evaluation, the doctor diagnosed him with Coronary Artery Disease (CAD). Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the most common type of heart disease. For some people, the first sign of CAD is a heart attack. Same goes with Muhammad Rafique. After the doctor diagnosed him with a heart attack, he told him that 3 of his veins are blocked. He advised him for a CABG surgery. A Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) is a open heart surgery to treat coronary artery disease. It diverts blood around narrowed or clogged parts of the major arteries to improve blood flow and oxygen supply to the heart.
Muhammad Rafique is a labor and CABG is an expensive surgery for him to afford. He merely earns PKR. 25,000 monthly. He hardly makes the ends meet with this meagre income. Therefore, he cannot afford such an expensive surgery. Muhammad Rafique explained his condition to us in the following words:
“I am a laborer. Everyone knows how much a laborer earns. You tell me how can I afford such a surgery? I was working hard to put food on the table at home. I was not ready for such conditions which I am facing right now. But now, I have hope that Transparent Hands will help me.”
Luckily, Muhammad Rafique and his family have been connected with Transparent Hands now. You can make this procedure possible by donations. Even a penny can go a long way. Generously, Donate for Muhammad Rafique’s Cardiac Surgery, and assist him in cherishing the gift of life.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
