Muhammad Ihtisham’s knee prosthesis
Muhammad Ihtisham's Story
A tragedy has totally changed Muhammad Ihtisham’s life. His leg had to be amputated after a traffic accident and he cannot walk now. He needs your help to regain mobility with the help of an artificial leg. Donate generously for Muhammad Ihtisham’s knee prosthesis and help him get back on his feet.
Muhammad Ihtisham, a 21-year-old resident of Gujranwala, had a road accident two years ago and his right leg was badly injured. He was rushed to the hospital. Upon medical evaluation, the doctor discovered severe trauma to his right leg. His limb was completely crushed and it was not possible to save it. Therefore, the doctors had to amputate his right leg below the knee level.
Muhammad Ihtisham’s father works as a laborer. His father is the only breadwinner in the family and Ihtisham has not been able to work since the tragedy struck him. They have no one else to help and support them financially. His father hardly earns PKR 15,000 monthly. With a family of nine to support and a meager income, their choice is between putting food on the table and getting Ihtisham a prosthetic leg. Someone told Muhammad Ihtisham about Transparent Hands and he shared his distress with us in the following words.
“My life turned upside down after the amputation. I had never imagined that one day I’d be so helpless. I had lost all hope till I found Transparent Hands. I hope they will help me.”
Ihtisham awaits your donations to acquire the prosthetic leg in order to improve the quality of his life. Now that he has been connected with Transparent Hands, we are determined to provide Hamza with an artificial leg. We urge you to help Ihtisham and make his life better. Muhammad Ihtisham's Story
Muhammad Ihtisham, a 21-year-old resident of Gujranwala, injured his right leg in a traffic accident in 2021. After some time, the wound on his leg got worse. He went to the local hospital for an evaluation. The doctor could not save his leg because the injury was too severe and had to amputate it. Ihtisham could not afford to pay for an artificial leg, so he contacted Transparent Hands and Hope Rehabilitation Centre. Under the supervision of Dr. Khalid, his below-knee right artificial leg was fixed on 27-05-2022. With your support, he can walk independently.
