Muhammad Basheer awaits Nasal Surgery
Muhammad Bashir's Story
Muhammad Basheer awaits Nasal Surgery. Before you go on to read the details of Muhammad Basheer’s case, please be sure of the fact that your contributions will help him breathe normally and bring him comfort. Therefore, we urge you to donate as much as you can for Muhammad Basheer’s Nasal Surgery.
Muhammad Basheer, aged 20, a resident of Karachi, has been in discomfort for the longest he can remember. He has been enduring the pain and discomfort in breathing and severe pain in his nose for the last twelve years. When he couldn’t bear this condition any more, he went to a public hospital for consultation. There he was diagnosed with left Rhinolith and Deviated Nasal Septum (DNS).
A rhinolith is a stone present in the nasal cavity. It is an uncommon medical phenomenon. After complete medical examination he was advised to undergo Septoplasty and removal of Rhinolith. Septoplasty, or alternatively submucous septal resection and septal reconstruction, is a corrective surgical procedure done to straighten a deviated nasal septum.
Due to continuous delay from the hospital, Basheer could not secure a date for his surgery. Basheer works as a helper in a local factory and lives with his parents and wife. He is the only supporter of the family and they have no financial assistance from anybody. Staff at the local hospital told him about Transparent Hands and he immediately contacted us. While speaking to one of our medical team officers, he shared his distress with us in the following manner:
“ I have dealt with this condition most of my life and it is now affecting my work. I am the sole earner and supporter of my family and they completely rely on me for their needs. Please help me get better so I can continue to provide for my family.”
Fortunately for Basheer, he has been connected and registered with Transparent Hands and it is our mission to help underprivileged people like him. As, Muhammad Basheer awaits Nasal Surgery, we are determined to get him cured. This however will not be possible without your constant and generous support. Hence, we request you to please donate for Muhammad Basheer’s Nasal Surgery as much as you can.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
