Muhammad Arsam's Story

Muhammad Arsam, a 2-year-old boy from Lahore, has never known a life without struggling to breathe. From the moment he was born, he faced constant shortness of breath and chest discomfort. The simplest activities like playing with his sibling or even laughing leave him exhausted and weak. They consulted a doctor who diagnosed him with Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), Pulmonary Atresia (PA), and Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA)—serious congenital heart defects that prevent proper blood flow in his heart. His doctor has advised open-heart surgery for Rastelli, a procedure that will correct these defects and save Arsam’s life. However, the cost of the surgery is out of his family’s financial capacity.

Without this surgery, Arsam’s condition will continue to deteriorate. It may lead to severe complications and Arsan will not be able to overcome the disease.

Arsam lives in a modest house in Lahore with his parents and one sibling. His father works as a delivery rider. Despite his hard work, Arsam’s father earns only PKR 30,000 per month, which is barely enough to meet the family’s basic needs. With a family of four, the financial pressure is overwhelming. The cost of Arsam’s heart surgery is far beyond their means. During this time of need, Arsam’s family contacted Transparent Hands and asked for help.

Arsam’s parents said with teary eyes:

“We see our son suffer every day, and we feel helpless. He’s so young and he deserves a chance to live without pain. We cannot afford his life-saving heart surgery, but we cannot bear to lose him either. Please, help our son in undergoing the surgery.”

Arsam’s future depends on this surgery, and your generosity can make it possible. Let’s work together to save his life. Your support will enable him to grow up strong.

Come forward and be a light in Arsam’s darkest hours.
